What is a Blog?
Basically, a blog is a website that allows participants to write about things they know, list events, comment on current news items, and say pretty much what they want. Readers have a chance, in the form of comments, to interact with the writer and other readers by adding their “two cents.” Blogs, similar to a community bulletin board are great way to keep the community updated.
Why me?
Like we said before, if you think you have something important to contribute to the community, we want you to have your say. We are looking to make the Glenwood Blog a reflection of the diversity of the people who live and work in Glenwood Springs; this is where you come in.
What’s in it for me?
Fame, Fortune? Well maybe a little of both. By becoming a recognized spokesperson on the site you might be contacted by others for your opinion. Your business will be profiled on the blog for free and your name will become more recognized in the community.
Who runs this Blog?
The team at Blizzard Internet Marketing Glenwood Springs hosts and administers the blog. Most of the current information on the blog has come from friends and employees of Blizzard Internet who live and work in the Glenwood area. While we will still administer the blog and add content, we are giving as much freedom to our writers as possible. We want the “down and dirty”, along with the scoop on what’s happening around town.
When can I get started?
Straight away. It is easy! Just follow these quick steps, and if you have any questions, let us know by e-mailing Blogs@BlizzardInternet.com:
To add a comment to a current page simply just click on the Review area and write your comment.
If you would like to be an author on the site, because you have the low-down in a certain area of intereste then;
1. Go to www.glenwoodblog.com/wp-register.php. Create a user name and enter your e-mail address. A password will be mailed to you.
2. With your UserName and Password, log into the site.
3. Click on “Write”. Add a title to the “Title” area, Add your text to the “Post” area and click on “Save”. For the first couple of posts, we will watch for any problems and then will put them on the site.
As you become proficient at blogging, we will increase your level of membership so your posts will show immediately after you have saved them.
