Glenwood Canyon Brewpub
Trent | 11 October 2005
Glenwood Springs premier brewpub is located in the first floor of the historic Hotel Denver. They feature a variety of fresh and unique menu items, their own hand-crafted beers, and friendly service in a family atmosphere.
Importantly, they are a non-smoking establishment, open for lunch and dinner seven days a week. They have TVs for watching sports and a foosball table.
They several regular fresh-brewed beers on their menu, as well as one seasonal one. The root beer is great for kids (they also server kids meals on frisbees with smiley fries). My favorite beer is their IPA, which is excellent.
Their lunch and dinner menus include a full compliment of choices, with everything from soups and salads, to appetizers, pastas, sandwiches, entrees, and specialty desserts. My favorite is the Smoked Turkey Philly
The Glenwood Canyon Brewpub is locally owned and operated business with a commitment to small town hospitality. We hope you will visit the, soon!

“Rating - 4.07/5 Grizzly Creek Raspberry Wheat - Glenwood Canyon Brewing / Canyon Brew Pub: Raspberry shaded blond in color, with a lightly pinkish head. Perhaps a little low in retention but displays an attractive lacing effect. I don’t recall the specific brand name but can you recall the Raspberry/Lime Sparkling Water that was so popular a few years back, that’s precisely the character of the aroma. Following the same path the flavor has fantastical sour/tart tones from the wheat and possibly the yeast. In complete opposition to the American fruit-beer, there’s no residual sweetness. Perfect balanced flavor character of raspberry, be it from extract or the actual raw fruit. Slight in body, exceptionally drinkable, smooth and flavorful; this is a very refreshing little ale.” at Who Tends the Fires

Glenwood Canyon Brewing Company
My rating: 5 out of 5
Great Place to eat and awesome BEER! The hanginglake is a rockin’ mirco brew. This is one of my top recommendations for a local restaurant in Glenwood Springs. Other top choices Onion Rings with IPA (makes me sloppy drunk) Pasta with Salmon The classic Bacon Cheese Burger with the Stout
Pros: Very friendly service
Cons: Bar closes a little early.

I’m not a beer fan (I know, I know, you are saying, “but Jill, it’s a pub! You have to have a beer” And to that I respond, “no, no you don’t. They have other drinks!”) I really LOVE the margaritas at the Brewpub! (I know, I know, now you are saying, “Jill, you like margaritas wherever you go!” But you would be surprised to know that I HAVE met a margarita that I don’t like.)
There is also a good wine selection. Both the wine and the margaritas go well with the nachos. My friend and I have made it a weekly tradition to have a nacho wine/marg night at the Pub; I would recommend that you and a friend do the same.

I couldn’t agree more. Great beer including some great standards and usually some seasonals as well and for those of you that are more adventurous, inquire if they have a fusion.

I worked at the pub 12 years ago upon it’s opening. I moved away 2 years later and it’s so cool to hear that the favorites we opened with are still there today. The beer is, and always be top notch. That is because Ken is the best brew master in the world!

Happened to be in town from upstate NY for a wedding. Went to the pub after
several of my friends went river rafting. Food and service was great. As for the
beer, we started with a number of samplers. All of them were so good it was hard
to pick, but the IPA for me hit the spot. Too bad we only got to go there the one
time. It would be a favorite place for me if I was local!!
