Developers had reduced the project by 4,000 square feet of floor area and about 11 feet in height, but the new proposal still did not generate enough support to guarantee passage.
XCEL EASES UP
Xcel Energy filed an amendment with the Colorado Public Utilities Commission, reducing its proposed increase in rates for customers’ electric bills. The new rates proposed by Xcel would increase the average monthly bill by $11, as opposed to the earlier proposal that had an average $16 increase per month.
