Ski at Sunlight for $10!
Friday, January 6, 2006 is Skier Appreciation Day at Sunlight! Lift tickets cost $10 and all proceeds go to the United Way of Garfield County.
The day will be festive! Enter the Ditch Cup fun races early in the day. Listen to music on the sundeck played by a disc jockey and local bands. From 3-5, Devon Alves will be playing in the Last Turn Lounge. There will even be a raffle, and two winners will go home with a new snowboard or pair of skis.
Those skiers who are students at Garfield County schools and will be in class on Friday can receive a voucher for a $10 lift ticket that they can use on Sunday, January 8, for the Rail Jam Series, a snowrider competition at the new terrain park at Sunlight. Garfield County school teachers and employees can receive a voucher for a free lift ticket to be used January 8.
LaFarge and EnCana cover the operating costs at Sunlight. Last year, Skier Appreciation Day raised $10,000 for the United Way.
Show up and give back to the community! For more information, check out Sunlight’s website or call 970-945-7491.

Sunlight has great conditions right now, amazing really. We have gotten lots of fresh snow during the busy holiday week. The bumps are developing and the groomers are fast and fun.
There are still lots of powder stashes to be found, and more snow on the way.
