You have got to try GLenwood’s newest restaurant - Mojito’s A Taste of Miami! They specialize in mojito’s of course and offer them in several different flavors. I tried mango, pineapple and coconut - not all in the same night - lol. They were all tasty, but my favorite was the coconut mojito.
The food is different than anything available in the valley.
It’s mostly Cuban and is very flavorful and spicy. I highly recommend the pork loin. As for side dishes, if you like fries (and who doesn’t?) try the french fried sweet potatoes. I think the beta carotene makes up for the fat, but you’ll have to make your own excuses. The plantains are plain yummy. It doesn’t matter if you don’t know what they are, just try them!
It’s only Tuesday, but as soon as I can justify another happy hour, I’ll be back over there checking out more of the appetizers. It’s Mojitos and it’s between the 7-11 and the hostel in downtown Glenwood. I’m not going to make it too easy for you to find it, though, since I want to get a seat at the cool bar Friday afternoon - or maybe Thursday…
