Add Your Photos to The Glenwood Blog
Host | 7 July 2006
If you have a great photo of the area that you would like to share with other readers then you can add them to our site by adding them to your flick’r account.
How does it work?
To be able to add photos to the group site you will need to have some photos in your Flick’r account.
- Go to http://www.flickr.com/ to choose your login in; either Sign In or Sign Up depending on if you already have an account or not.
- Once you are signed in, add your photos to your account.
- To join the group, go to the http://www.flickr.com/groups/ area and visit our Glenwood Springs Group Page.
- Select the ‘Glenwood Spring Group’ and click on ‘Join This Group’.
- Click on the ‘Join This Group’ button to confirm you want to join, then once the page refreshes to the group page you can go back to your own page by clicking on ‘You’ in the top navigation.
- Now you can add photos to the group.
- Open your photos and select the image you would like to add to the group.
- Once the image is fully open you will have the option to ‘Send to Group’
- A drop down will ask you which group to add the photo to – Select ‘Glenwood Springs’ and then you will see a pop up that tells you the photo has been added to the group.
- Click OK
You can add comments or links in the comment area to tell about your photos and Flickr will automatically link back to your photo album sharing the visitor wealth and interlinking the sites.
It sounds more complicated than it is, once you have an account you can continue to add photos in different albums, choose to share publicly or keep private certain images and write text to go with the image as well as link to your site or another website.
