Casting Comp: Friday August 18th, 2006 @ 7:30am - $6,000 in prize money

** Pre-registration closes August 17th @ 12:00am. On site registration will take place August 18th from 7:00am - 8:30am. On site registration may be subject to higher fees.

This event is a casting competition that will take place all day on the 18th of August. This event is open to the fly fishing community and all competitors will have the opportunity to compete for $6,000 in prize money. There are men’s and women’s events with equal prize money. $2,000 for first place, $1,000 for second, and five weight Scott fly rods for third place. The casting will take place at Peace Ranch, located five miles from the Town of Basalt, Colorado. This will be a five weight casting competition in compliance with American Casting Association Rules and Regulations. All competitors will cast with the same five weight rod, line, leaders, and flies. All gear will be provided.

The entry fee for this event is $100 per competitor.
