Rivers is also really livening up their night life with live music every Friday night. They cover most genres and the atmosphere has really improved with the no smoking laws.

The Rivers is my favorite restaurant in town. They offer a delicious variety of food (meat, fish, vegetarian, etc.) and have good service. In summer, you have a great view from the deck onto Mt. Sopris.

The trout pate is my favorite appetizer. I also like the Elk medallions for dinner. They do a pretty good deal too if you split a dinner and add an extra salad... good way to save some money and eat a bit lighter. Also, Rivers probably has the absolute best summer happy hour, with their un-equaled deck.
