My husband took me here when I first moved to Colorado and it’s been one of my favorites ever since — it’s wonderful! It’s also a great place to buy gift certificates for friends and family…as most everyone loves this place.

This is a great place for lunch with friends. In the off seasons this place fills with locals. The restored wood floors and bar give it a warm and cozy feeling.

Good steak and great seafood. Easily one of the best restaurants in the area.

Oct 6, 2007.
There were six of us. We waited 45 minutes for a table and then were told that we could not sit together. They could not put two tables together. Yet a group of about 10 were already seated and had three tables together and were in the process of dining.
My husband and I ordered the special. I ordered the steak special which was $28 dollars. As we waited, people came in after us, got seated quickly and were served their meals and left. We waited and waited and waited for our meal. We were the last people served.
A dollar menu meal would have been better than the steak I was served. I complained to the waiter, he disappeared and never came back till he delivered our check.
He did offer a free dessert, but we had to pay for the steak.
Salads and veggies are an extra charge.
Very poorly run and the specials are over priced for the quality of food.

A group of 6 of us went to Juicy Lucy’s after a dip at the hotspring just across the river. I love good food and I am not one to go out of my to post comments, but the food was outstanding. I had the Ribeye Special, best grilled steak I have had in some time. The elk and filo appetizer was outstanding and the salads we had shared were tasty, especially the one with strawberries. We had several bottles of excellent wine at great prices (we had just come from Aspen). The staff not only was curtious and efficient, but told us where we could go hiking the next day.
I knew of Juicy Lucy’s from last winter after stopping by on my way to the slopes. I was by myself, so I sat at the bar. Turned out the food was so good, I hit it again for seconds after 2 days of skiing in Aspen. The fresh fish with shrimp chile rellano was as good as the juicy filet I had had several nights earlier.
Highly recommended to anyone who loves great wine and steak, whether staying in Glenwood or just passing through. Hats off to a consistently outstanding restaurant.
