South Canyon is just a few miles west of Glenwood Springs, and has its own dedicated exit (with a bridge across the Colorado River, public access, boat launch and restroom).
The wave feature itself is available a few weeks a year when the flow is correct (if you know the flow, please share in a comment below) of the Colorado River.
