Today there is one eastbound and one westbound train on the famous California Zephyr line — which goes from Chicago to San Francisco. The train is a stylish (and all day) way to get to either Denver or Salt Lake City from Glenwood Springs. (more…)

Italian Underground
AmyT | 3 November 2006 7 Reviews »
The Italian Underground is a favorite of Glenwood Springs locals. It is located downtown in one of the oldest buildings in Glenwood with a truly Italian atmosphere. It is the perfect location for a family feast. The food is excellent and entrees include salad, bread and gellato for dessert. Worth the wait. They do not accept reservations but if you arrive early you can usually be seated quickly.
