The Hotel Denver is a historic hotel that is the most centrally located hotel in Glenwood Springs. In the heart of downtown Glenwood, all attractions are within easy walking distance including the dowtown core restaurants, shops, night spots and parks. The Hotel Colorado is a historic grand hotel in Glenwood Springs which opened in 1893.
Its history includes the teddy bear, Teddy Roosevelt’s western White House, gangsters, and World War II U.S. Naval hospital. The National Park Service has recognized Hotel Colorado on the list of National Register of Historic Places.

The Hotel Colorado is very close to the Hotsprings pool. It is an easy walk across the bridge to downtown Glenwood Springs.

Lavender & Thyme is located in downtown Glenwood Springs and is pretty close to the local restaurants and within walking distance of the Hot Springs Pool. Built in 1903 it is a Victorian style B&B decorated in antiques. In the summer you can sit on the wrap around porch and watch the world go by, and then in the winter if you don’t want to hike down to the hot springs pool, you can just hang out in the hot tub or sit by the fire.
If the paranormal is your thing, then you will be intrigued by the story that Doc Holiday is buried under the master bedroom….
