We are excited by the possibility of the newly planned Glenwood Springs Whitewater Park being built on the Colorado River. This is a great use of one of our major natural resources and we think more people should benefit, both economically and recreationally, from a strong flow of water through town.
The park will be located on the Colorado River at the Midland Avenue Bridge in West Glenwood Springs and will bring an economical, ecological, educational and recreational opportunities to Glenwood Springs. (more…)

TERMINATING ASPEN?
Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, who with his wife Maria Shriver, have made Aspen an annual destination for the holidays, is featured in a 30-second television spot promoting skiing in California. Schwarzenegger and the state’s top skiers and snowboarders are pumping up California to make “the Golden State top-of-mind as a premier ski destination."
