Major Events in Glenwood Springs:
Strawberry Days Festival is Glenwood Spring Biggest summer event. It is Colorado’s oldest civic festival and features music, food, art, parade, beauty queen… the whole 9 yards for three days. This festival attracts thousands from around the region. 2007 Dates: June 15, 16, & 17th
2006-07 Jim Calaway Honors Series - This performing arts concert series, which is in its seventh season, has evolved into one of the greatest winter traditions in the Roaring Fork Valley.
Summer of Jazz is another great Glenwood Tradition. Free Jazz concerts in Two Rivers for 8 weeks on Wednesday nights in June and July. The bands and musicians are consistent crowd pleasers. Highly Recommended!
Sunlight Mountain Ski Resorts has a lot going on from December through March. Ski Spree is big in early February, but there are many other fun events.
Cemetary Ghost Walk hosted by the Frontier Historical Society in the last two weeks of October. Sign up early, tickets sell out.
